As we all know, having good health or being in a state of well-being does not necessarily mean being able to wake up in the morning, stretch all parts of your body and prepare for work. Well, as much as these play to the physical part; experience tells us that having the prowess to go about one’s daily activities is in no way tantamount to being in a state of physical well-being.

In recent times however, the idea of gender equality seems to have been misinterpreted a lot. Nowadays, gender equality and feminism has subconsciously come to mean the stigmatization of men. Surprisingly, no one seems to care about men. Understandably, men are expected to always put up a strong front – even when they’re feeling weak. However, virtually every man has had some form of experience where they really needed a shoulder to cry on.

At Men’s Wellness Circle, we have identified many of these – perhaps unintentional – conspiracies against men. And in response to the unspeakable pain that men go through, we have taken measures to mitigate the problems. At Men’s Wellness Circle, our goal is to help men remain in a state of total wellness.

With reference to our cause, our scope is not limited to helping men remain physically fit or just free of diseases. Rather, our aim is to help men to become free of all kinds of internal trauma. By this, men are able maintain their sanity, while they keep up with being in a state of holistic well-being.

Before now, a couple of organizations have championed causes and proffered solutions in line with one or more aspects of men’s wellness. However, the bulk of these platforms have only paid attention to one – or at best, few – aspect(s) of men’s pain points. Having understood that health is an all-encompassing phenomenon which involves the physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual, and economic well-being of an individual; it immediately became clear that many things are missing in the offerings of all other platforms that lay claim to being on the side of men.

With the identification of these lacunas, we then reached out and brought together a team of seasoned professionals who have proven track records in dealing with issues that men face. These professionals span across industries, and they include doctors, coaches, nutritionists & dieticians, counsellors, gymnasts, psychologists, and many others. Furthermore, we have signed agreements with various wellness centres such as hospitals & clinics, SPAs, gymnasiums, and so on.

Regardless of what your challenges are, we have put structures in place to cater for them. Furthermore, as we journey through the process of attaining total well-being for men, we understand that every man loves his privacy to be respected. Hence, we have also put measures in place to ascertain that the information of all our subscribers remain discreet.

Physical, Emotional and Mental


As we all know, having good health or being in a state of well-being does not necessarily mean being able to wake up in the morning, stretch all parts of your body and prepare for work. Well, as much as these play to the physical part; experience tells us that having the prowess to go about one’s daily activities is in no way tantamount to being in a state of physical well-being. It goes beyond doubt that there are many people who are as good as dead, but still roam about the streets like they’re very fine. Funny enough, some of such people even have finer looks than the very healthy ones.

With the understanding of this phenomenon, we encourage men who often feel one or more seemingly petty symptoms to take cognizance of these symptoms and not just disregard them as minor. For instance, it can easily be assumed that feeling headache is a result of stress. The same person who feels headache often, might also feel stomach ache or chest pains every once in a while. Meanwhile, this person innocently but ignorantly continues to treat the symptoms.

However, upon consultation with a professional, he might then get to realize that these seemingly “petty” illnesses are symptoms of a chronic and perhaps life-threatening disease. In most – if not all – cases, a consistent occurrence of a series of minor illnesses usually points at a major health challenge. In contrast to not being aware of issues that pose a threat to their lives, men are better of when there is an early detection of these ailments.

When detected early, even the most chronic of ailments can be better managed, and their effects can be mitigated. This is why we encourage men to pay a whole lot of attention even to the very minute details of their health.

Be it as it may, the physical domain is only one aspect of the many phases of being healthy. There are other equally important but often overlooked and undermined spheres of men’s health – which are the emotional and mental domains. Little do some men know that the lack of a balance in their emotional and mental well-being can have a huge ripple effect on their lives. To a large extent, these often-undermined areas usually have an impact on the rate of men’s productivity at work.

As men, there are many times when we go to bed purportedly fine and happy; but the following morning, we just seem to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. On occasions like this, we find it difficult to place what is really wrong. However, we remain moody all through the day; and to make things worse, no one seems to care or even ask. Everyone just seems to think, “he’ll be fine anyway, he’s a man”.

Sadly, regardless of how pained they feel, men are never able to complain about any of these scenarios. In a bid to support men and to help us address these issues that no one seems to care about, Men’s Wellness Circle was born.
